Unexpected Alliances

Unexpected Alliances is book two in the United League of Planets series. It continues the adventures of our friends from different planets as they find ways of helping others. In this book while investigating the boundaries of the known universe, the Star Gazer, the ULP's most advanced scientific research vessel, intercepts a fleet of spaceships fleeing from their home planet which is being devoured by their dying star. Once the ULP gets involved, they give the task of helping these refugees find a new home to Captain Onreen and Dr. Marion Britton.

Contacted by the Canadian government, Dr. Jonathon Black and Amy, his Gleesosian wife, along with their friend, Brann Skal the white dragon, are teamed up with a very unusual group of veterinarians who are desperately working to save the remaining dragons on Earth from extinction.

While back on Earth, the first Earthlings to undergo the discipline of the Nokshi, Jack Yarden and Jennifer O'Mally are charged with the duties of organizing the Nokshi security force for Earth's new intergalactic space station. 

These challenges will test the skills of everyone involved and lead to some very unexpected alliances.

Only after retiring did M.R. LaScola find the time to take an idea he had and put it on paper. His idea took his favorite genres-science fiction and fantasy-and merged them with the world of today.
