BOOK DESCRIPTION

Hindus Awake! Book 1: The Foundation is a brilliantly simple but reflective synopsis of Hinduism that explores not really the what, but the why, thereby allowing for a rare spiritual insight into Hinduism, essentially framing the foundation for sparking devotion to the Supreme. Hindus Awake! Book 1: The Foundation is a bold and thought evoking commentary on Hinduism that is daringly provocative yet elegantly reconciliatory that cares to go where few Hindus dare to go, with the resolute undertone of fundamentally uniting Hindus in spirit, thought, and deed.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Deepak Kotecha is an Optometrist by training, and has Therapeutic and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist qualifications. He is in private practice in Texas, providing pediatric and family eye and vision care. A devout Vaishnav Hindu and a vegetarian, the idea of putting into practice the basic and crucial tenets of Hinduism into everyday life is essential. There is no claim made whatsoever as to having any sort of special or unique expertise in Hinduism - only that he is a staunch Hindu. There is a genuine and heart-wrenching concern over the alarming and rapid disappearance of the basic Hindu principles from everyday life together with the gratuitous adoption of non-Hindu morals and principles among Hindus around the world today. This book voices boldly these concerns and, at the same time, educates on the spiritual fundamentals of Hinduism in an easy and thought-provoking manner. Jai Shri Krishna!
