He has co-authored Veterinary Acupuncture: Ancient Art to Modern Medicine, and Healing Your Horse: Alternative Therapies. He has written numerous articles in journals including: American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Botanical Veterinary Association, International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, The Whole Dog Journal, The Whole Horse Journal and The Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
His radio show Pets, People and Paradise has been on the air for more than ten years on KHVH Honolulu, and KKCR FM on Kauai, Hawai’i. Dr. Basko lives on the islands of Kaua’i and the Big Island with his pets and wife, Jane.
